Stafford Loan Exit Interview

For an overview of Exit Counseling, please visit studentaid.gov.

To complete your exit interview:

1. Visit the Exit Counseling page through studentaid.gov

2. Click the blue button to login.

3. Enter your FSA ID and Password. If you have not created a FSA ID, please do so at the “Create an Account” link. If you have forgotten your Username and/or Password, please click on the respective links to receive the help you need. 

4. Complete your Exit loan counseling session and indicate the College of Charleston as a college you attended.  This should take 25-30 minutes to complete. 

5. Once you are finished you’ll receive a completion confirmation from studentaid.gov. Please forward that email to treasurer@cofc.edu and we be able to release the hold and update your account Stafford Exit requirement as satisfied.
